Job Overview
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Assist providers during clinical visits across multiple specialties
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and clinical equipment
- Assist with documentation preparation within the EMR
- Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up care
- Maintain infection control and safety standards
- Collaborate with front desk and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required (training available for strong candidates)
- Interest in pursuing a healthcare career strongly encouraged
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- EMR experience (eClinicalWorks preferred, but not required)
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply (Bengali/Urdu/Hindi/Punjabi/Spanish)
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
