Responsibilities
- Perform adult echocardiography studies in the dedicated echo lab, acquiring 2D, Doppler, and color-flow images
- Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality image acquisition for accurate interpretation
- Prepare and document findings in EPIC or equivalent EMR, ensuring timely communication with the cardiology team
- Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging
- Maintain equipment readiness, cleanliness, and proper dosimetry, and participate in routine quality assurance
- May be asked to float to outpatient facilities and participate in on-call coverage as required
- Ensure compliance with patient population needs (inpatient, outpatient, and ICU) and maintain professional standards of care

Requirements
- Certification: ARDMS (ARDCS) or CCI (equivalency acceptable) for cardiac sonography
- BLS from American Heart Association
- EKG recognition experience
- A minimum of 2 years of echocardiography experience
- EPIC experience from within the past 2 years
- Ability to work in a fast-paced adult echo lab and to float to related settings as needed
- Reliable transportation may be required due to limited public transit options in the area
