Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized intervention plans to improve activities of daily living and functional independence.
- Implement, monitor, and adjust therapy programs aligned with resident goals and facility protocols.
- Document progress and outcomes clearly in resident records; ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (rehabilitation, nursing, and medical staff) to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education on home exercise programs, safety, and preventive strategies.
- Participate in discharge planning and assist with transitions to ensure continuity of care and appropriate follow-up.

Requirements
- Active occupational therapy license (state-specific) as required; Montana licensure preferred for this assignment.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Prior clinical experience in acute care or long-term care settings preferred.
- Certification as required by state licensure; NBCOT certification is preferred when applicable.
- Ability to work in a long-term care environment and meet the 36-hour weekly requirement.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
