Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor plans of care for residents under the supervision of an OT
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and therapeutic exercises as prescribed
- Document progress notes, treatment responses, and changes to the plan of care
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to adapt activities and equipment for safety and independence
- Ensure safe handling of therapeutic modalities, transfers, and gait training
- Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and accurate therapy records
Requirements
- Active Montana COTA license or eligibility for licensure
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant credential
- Associate degree from an accredited OTA program
- Experience in or exposure to long-term care (skilled nursing) settings preferred
- Ability to work a Days shift in a 13-week travel assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Must be able to travel to the assignment location and participate in a travel schedule
