Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) – Olympia, Washington. Travel assignment starting 07/27/2026 for 13 weeks, with a 3x12-hour night shift. The position supports an acute care respiratory services unit within a short-term acute care hospital setting that treats neonates through geriatrics. Charting is in EPIC. First-time travelers are accepted; references are required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult and pediatric respiratory care per physician orders, including airway management and ventilation support
• Perform assessments, monitor responses to therapy, and adjust treatments as indicated; interpret arterial blood gases
• Administer prescribed medications and therapies (nebulized medications, HFNC/CPAP/BiPAP, aerosolized meds)
• Operate and assess patients on ventilators; participate in ventilator weaning and readiness for extubation as appropriate
• Support rapid response and multidisciplinary teams; collaborate with nurses and physicians to optimize patient outcomes
• Document care thoroughly in the EPIC charting system; adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• May float across units as needed to support facility coverage
• Complete required pre-start modules and maintain competency in listed skills
  
  

Requirements

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS; CRT or RRT
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of respiratory care experience
• Credentialing: Pending license accepted
• Charting: EPIC experience preferred
• Ability to work in an acute care environment and on a 3x12-hour night schedule
• References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required prior to start
• Pre-start modules: Required (approx. 16 hours) prior to start
• RTO/Time off: All requested time off must be included with submittal
