Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
• Document patient status, monitor for changes, and communicate effectively with the care team to ensure safety and quality
• Administer medications and perform treatments per orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, patient safety, and ethical guidelines in a fast-paced hospital environment
  
  

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California
• 1 year of RN clinical experience in acute care or telemetry settings
• Ability to work nights and 12-hour shift schedules
• Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment
