Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate employee health services in the local market, ensuring alignment with system strategies, policies, and procedures
• Serve as a key resource for education, communication, and support related to occupational health, infection prevention, workers’ compensation, and staff wellness initiatives
• Conduct routine occupational health activities and support programs that promote staff safety and well-being; assist with program documentation and reporting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; maintain accurate records and assist with incident management
• Promote infection prevention principles and provide education to staff on health and safety practices within the occupational health program
  
  

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California
• Knowledge of occupational health concepts, infection prevention, and workers’ compensation processes
• Ability to work in a hospital-based setting and provide on-site support
• Strong communication and education skills; aptitude for staff coaching and program coordination
• BLS certification preferred; experience in occupational health, infection prevention, or workers’ compensation is a plus
• Availability to participate in a travel assignment and meet the assignment start date and duration
