Registered Nurse – Radiology (Interventional Radiology) position available for a travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date: 07/20/2026. 13-week contract with 40 hours per week on a 4x10-hour shift schedule. Weekly pay range: $2,582 per week to $2,798 per week. Setting involves adult inpatient and outpatient interventional radiology procedures in a hospital-based program. Responsibilities

• Prepare adult patients for interventional radiology procedures (biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided interventions)
• Monitor patients intra-procedure and provide post-procedure recovery care in PACU and extended stay (including 23-hour observation)
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and the broader care team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care
• Assist with equipment setup, patient positioning, sterile technique, and post-procedure documentation
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient status; participate in trauma and embolization response as part of the IR team
• Maintain infection prevention measures and adhere to unit policies and procedures
  
  

Requirements

• Active New York State Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Telemetry experience
• Minimum 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; ability to work in a dynamic, procedural IR setting
• Strong critical thinking, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
