Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the OR, including patient assessment, positioning, positioning safety, and maintaining sterile technique
• Scrub and circulate for diverse surgical cases, ensuring correct instrument counts, equipment readiness, and timely availability of supplies
• Support DaVinci robotic procedures; assist with large head and neck cases, neuro spine procedures, and ex lap cases; anticipate surgeon needs and manage equipment accordingly
• Monitor intraoperative patient status, coordinate with anesthesia, document events, and communicate changes to the team
• Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a safe, efficient workflow; adapt to multiple ORs as assigned; participate in on-call coverage as required
  
  

Requirements

• Current Kansas RN license and AHA BLS certification
• 2 years of OR experience with level 1 trauma experience and strong scrub skills
• Familiarity with DaVinci robotic cases; experience with large head/neck, neuro spine, and ex lap surgeries
• Ability to float to all ORs and work effectively in a hospital OR environment
• Orientation and credentialing: credentials due 1 week prior to start; new graduates not accepted
