Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room
• Prepare the OR, maintain the sterile field, and assist with surgical cases as directed
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; assist anesthesia team as needed
• Adhere to sterile technique and infection control standards; ensure patient safety and comfort
• Position and transport patients safely; communicate with the surgical team to anticipate needs
• Complete accurate post-operative documentation and ensure efficient turnover between cases
  
  

Requirements

• Active RN license in Montana
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of critical access hospital OR experience preferred
• Ability to work in a rotating schedule with on-call responsibilities
