Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for neonates and an assigned patient group according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring safe, effective care
• Coordinate care with other disciplines while using critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making
• Provide intensive monitoring for neonates experiencing lifethreatening conditions, ensuring rapid assessment and timely intervention
• Maintain accurate documentation, infection control practices, and patient safety throughout the shift
• Collaborate with the NICU multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and family-centered care
  
  

Requirements

• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 3x12 schedule
• Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment in a NICU setting
• Demonstrated ability to perform nursing duties with critical thinking and independent judgment in a high-acuity Neonatal Intensive Care environment
• Commitment to applying the nursing process and established standards of care in neonate care
• Strong collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and effective communication with families
