Travel Registered Nurse NICU Job

Overview

NICU Registered Nurse – Level II in Westwood, New Jersey. This travel assignment starts on 04/20/2026 and runs for multiple weeks in a 5-bed Level II NICU unit. You will work nights on a 3x12-hour schedule and document in Epic. The role focuses on neonatal care for a neonate population with typical census around one patient per day. Weekly pay ranges from $1,434 to $1,512 per week, with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to neonates in a Level II NICU, including monitoring, medication administration, and respiratory support (Bubble CPAP, HFNC, and basic ventilator support)
• Manage vascular access and lines (peripheral IVs, UAC/UVC management, central line care) and perform blood draws as ordered
• Support feeding and nutrition (bottle and breastfeeding support, gavage, NG/NJ tube placement/management) and monitor blood glucose
• Conduct sepsis workups, phototherapy, APGAR scoring, neonatal dosing, and participate in developmental and family-centered care
• Perform charting in Epic in real time; respond to clinical changes and collaborate with the NICU team; float to cover patient-care needs as required
  
  

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey (or eligible for licensure)
• Certifications: BLS, NRP (including Advanced NRP), and STABLE
• Ep ic charting experience required
• Experience: 2 years NICU experience preferred
• Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Ability to work nights in a Level II NICU and to float as needed
• Travel requirement: This is a travel assignment; locals within 50 miles are not accepted
