Responsibilities

• Render professional nursing care to telemetry patients on a Med Surg Tele unit and execute provider orders related to medical treatment
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation, including up-to-date care plans each shift, and participate in bedside shift reports and multidisciplinary rounds
• Monitor patient status, manage safety concerns, and promote a culture of well-being and patient education that is culturally competent
• Support quality initiatives and performance improvement efforts; participate in daily unit-based safety huddles and contribute to problem-solving within the team
• Serve as a preceptor for new nurses when appropriate and assist in coordinating care with nursing colleagues and other departments
• Maintain compliance with unit-specific competencies, regulatory requirements, and ongoing learning, including dysrhythmia knowledge and telemetry-related coursework as required
  
  

Requirements

• Active New Hampshire RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Dysrhythmia course prior to completion of orientation
• Telemetry/Med Surg Tele experience preferred
• Willing/able to float to Psych units as needed
• Graduate of an approved nursing program preferred
