Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients on the assigned unit, including nursing assessments and plan of care
• Monitor patient status, administer medications and IV therapies, and manage changes in condition with appropriate escalation
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient education
• Document all nursing care and patient progress in the electronic charting system (EPIC) with accurate vitals, assessments, and interventions
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, respond to clinical changes, and maintain infection prevention and safety standards
• Perform charge responsibilities as needed, assist with flow and bed management, and participate in unit staffing decisions
  
  

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2 years of acute hospital experience with at least 1 year in med-surg/telemetry
• EPIC charting experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; flexibility to cover 36–48 hours per week and weekend rotations
• Nursing degree (RN) required; U.S. work history as applicable per visa status
