Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele) in Rochester, NY. Travel assignment starting 04/20/2026 for several weeks. Work on a 19-bed cardiac-focused MS/Tele unit within a hospital setting. Shifts are 3x12-hour nights. Weekly pay range: $2,086–$2,196. No guaranteed hours. Orientation is 16 hours. Epic charting experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric patients on MS/Tele with cardiac diagnoses
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to dysrhythmias; participate in Rapid Response/Code team as needed
• Administer medications and oversee IV therapy; phlebotomy and peripheral line care
• Implement isolation precautions and PPE protocols; manage oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (IV team, PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Work, Transport, Unit Secretary); document in Epic
• Float within scope to similar units as required and support charting accuracy and efficient patient handoffs
  
  

Requirements

• Active NY RN license in hand to submit
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience
• BLS certification
• Epic charting experience (facility-stated hard requirement)
• Phlebotomy and IV insertion competency
• Ability to work in a hospital MS/Tele setting; float within scope to related units
• Not accepting candidates within 75 miles of the facility location
• On-call: No
• Orientation: 16 hours
• First-time travelers accepted
• RTO restrictions: No RTO May 8–10; confirm specifics with AM Recruiter
