Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including medication administration and treatment per physician orders
• Conduct regular assessments and document changes in patient status; monitor vital signs and respond to alarms or changes in condition
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects; manage wound care and other routine nursing tasks
• Ensure accurate charting and documentation in the medical record; maintain compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members; participate in rounds and care planning discussions
  
  

Requirements

• Active registered nurse license in Maine (RN) or current eligibility to practice in Maine
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12) and meet guaranteed hours
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-centered care environment
