Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adults and geriatrics on a Med‑Surg/Telemetry unit, including post‑operative and acute care
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient status, perform ongoing assessments, and support rapid response as needed
• Administer medications and IV therapy, manage IV lines, wound and drain care, and assist with post‑op recovery and isolation precautions
• Document care in Epic with accurate, timely charting; coordinate with an interdisciplinary team (IV team, PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Social Work, Interpreter services)
• Support discharge planning and patient/family education; assist with procedures and protocols as appropriate (e.g., CBI, feeding tubes, basic ABG interpretation, insulin/anticoagulation considerations)
• Maintain safety and quality through adherence to infection control measures and unit policies
  
  

Requirements

• Current RN license in Idaho or a compact state with license in hand at submittal
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; travel experience required
• Med‑Surg and Telemetry experience; Epic charting experience
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts; flexible to meet unit needs
