Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric ICU patients, including assessment, planning, and documentation
• Manage ventilator support, vasoactive and sedation titration, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Recognize and treat cardiac dysrhythmias; oversee post-STEMI care and related hemodynamic needs
• Collaborate with physicians, intensivists, and the multidisciplinary team; participate in rounds and develop care plans
• Monitor for deterioration, respond to emergencies, and implement evidence-based interventions to optimize outcomes
• Ensure infection control, patient safety, and accurate medication administration; document care activities thoroughly
  
  

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN license; license required at time of submission
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; strong competency in core critical care skills
• Ability to perform ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and arrhythmia recognition/management
• Pass/Fail testing for telemetry/ECG and medications prior to acceptance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work night shifts and in a fast-paced ICU environment
