Responsibilities

• Conduct rapid assessement and triage of incoming patients in the ER
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications and IV therapy as ordered
• Perform nursing duties within ER scope, including wound care and procedural support
• Document assessments, interventions, and care plans in the electronic medical record; communicate with the care team
• Collaborate with physicians and ancillary staff; support discharge planning and patient education
• Float to units within scope of practice as needed to support patient flow
  
  

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC
• Minimum 1 year ER experience; travel experience required
• Ability to work in a high-volume ER setting and float to units within scope
• Weekend requirements: required with schedule rotation
• New graduates not accepted
