- Provide RN supervision across multiple units during evenings and nights, ensuring safe, efficient patient care and appropriate staff coverage
- Lead, mentor, and coach nursing staff; assign tasks and monitor performance; support adherence to care plans
- Oversee patient flow and clinical operations across five units, including behavior management and elopement risk in the neurobehavioral unit
- Deliver direct patient care as needed (IV starts, PICC line care, wound and tube-feed management, indwelling catheters) while maintaining high standards of infection control
- Ensure regulatory readiness and incident reporting; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, Pharmacy, unit secretary, interpretation services) to optimize care and safety
- Maintain accurate EPIC charting, ensure documentation quality, and support surveillance for quality and safety initiatives
- Active New York RN license (in hand) and ability to submit license documentation
- BLS certification
- EPIC charting experience (required)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience with previous charge/lead responsibilities
- Experience with geriatric populations, including dementia/neurobehavioral care; ability to float across units and manage escalation situations
- Ability to work off-shift, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; comfort caring for long-term, rehabilitative, and behavioral populations
- Orientation and onboarding support (first-week orientation)
- On-site interdisciplinary support (PT, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, unit secretary, interpretation)
- Travel assignment support from the recruiting team and ongoing assistance throughout the assignment
- Access to references and internal resources to facilitate regulatory readiness and safety compliance
