Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to adult and geriatric ER patients, including triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring
• Administer medications, initiate IV access, and manage invasive lines as appropriate
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, respond to rapid changes, and assist in trauma and critical care situations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Document care provided accurately in the medical record and ensure timely handoffs
• Adhere to infection control practices and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Requirements

• Active Hawaii RN license required by start date
• Must arrive the Thursday before start date to participate in employee health onboarding (Friday appointment)
• Ability to work night shifts on a 3x12 schedule (36 hours weekly during active weeks)
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced ER environment with high patient turnover
• ER nursing experience preferred to support rapid assessment and care delivery (per assignment notes)
