Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients identified with nutritional risk or special needs
• Conduct patient assessment and reassessment to guide care planning
• Deliver patient and family education on nutrition and dietary plans
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and document all interventions per policy
• Develop, implement, and document the nutrition care plan and monitor outcomes
• Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with acceptable practice standards and facility policies
  
  

Requirements

• Active Registered Dietitian license or eligibility in California
• Ability to work in an inpatient clinical nutrition program
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of nutrition assessment, care plan development, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field (or equivalent education) and related clinical preparation as applicable
