Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using standard imaging equipment
• Position patients and select appropriate exposure factors to obtain quality images
• Apply radiation safety principles and monitor patient and staff exposure
• Verify patient identity, procedure details, and documentation in the imaging system
• Ensure image quality and complete preliminary quality checks; prepare images for interpretation
• Float to four attached buildings as needed and coordinate with radiologists and clinicians to support patient care
  
  

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification (LRT) and Kansas Board of Healing Arts license in hand upon submittal
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Education: Graduate of a two-year accredited Radiology Technology program
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent radiology tech experience in a high-acuity setting
• Ability to perform imaging across multiple buildings with attached x-ray equipment
• Ability to work a schedule that includes weekend requirements
