Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams and procedures as requested by medical staff
• Operate CT scanner and adjust imaging parameters to optimize quality while minimizing exposure
• Assist radiologists and other staff during exams and procedures
• Conduct routine quality inspections and quality control maintenance on the CT scanner as per manufacturer guidance and organizational policies
• Complete documentation for ordering, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of CT exams
• Retrieve written orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and adherence to departmental standards
  
  

Requirements

• ARRT CT registry eligible
• Graduate of CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent ARRT training
• Two (2) years of radiology experience as a registered technologist
• American Heart Association BLS required within 60 days of hire
• ARRT Radiography certification/registration demonstrated or equivalent
• Education in Radiologic Technology as required by program completion
• Ability to work in an outpatient CT setting and meet the shift requirements
• Willingness to comply with travel assignment requirements, including distance from the facility
