Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab during interventional procedures (e.g., catheterization, angiography, and other Cath/IR/EP cases) under physician supervision
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, equipment, and supplies; assist with device handling and imaging equipment setup
• Monitor patient status and hemodynamics throughout procedures; manage IV lines, contrast administration, and pharmacologic support as directed
• Assist the interventional team with procedural workflow, documentation, and post-procedure care; ensure accurate charting and data entry
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and hospital policies; participate in equipment and procedural readiness, including room turnover
• Provide support for Cath/IR/EP cases as assigned and communicate any patient concerns or equipment issues to the team
  
  

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 yearsCath Lab experience
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Licensure: Active license appropriate to Cath Lab practice as applicable
• Skills: Proficiency with cath lab equipment, sterile technique, and patient monitoring
• Availability: Ability to work 4x10-hour day shifts; willing to float to Cath/IR/EP as needed
• Scheduling: Weekend and on-call requirements as listed (1–2 times/week and every 3rd–4th weekend)
