Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor physical therapy treatment plans for LTAC patients under supervising PT
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, mobility activities, and documentation of progress within scope
• Assist with modalities and functional activities to promote independence and safety
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate progress to the supervising PT and care team
• Ensure patient safety, proper body mechanics, and adherence to infection control and standard precautions
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on discharge planning and patient and family education
  
  

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain licensure in NH
• CPR certification (or equivalent) in good standing
• Ability to work in a LTAC/skilled nursing setting and meet the physical demands of the role
• Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
