Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation, plan of care, treatment, and re-evaluation for adult inpatients in an acute care setting
• Implement evidence-based PT interventions, including therapeutic exercises, mobility training, gait training, and functional mobility activities
• Develop patient- and family-centered education for discharge planning and home exercise programs; document progress in the medical record
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (nursing, physicians, case management) to coordinate care, manage patient flow, and adjust plans as needed
• Manage a variable schedule across two facilities within the assignment footprint; ensure safe patient handling and adherence to facility policies
• Maintain accurate documentation, complete timely progress notes, and participate in required quality and compliance activities
  
  

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree
• Active Physical Therapist license in the United States or eligible for Hawaii licensure
• Ability to work in an inpatient acute care environment and adapt to a split-site schedule
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Eligible for a travel assignment and able to work the dayshift schedule described
• You may be asked to meet standard credentialing and reference processes; reference checks may be conducted via email
