Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including routine assessments, monitoring, and documentation
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to facility policy and patient safety protocols
• Monitor residents for changes in condition, report findings to the supervising nurse, and participate in care planning and updates
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility) and position for comfort and safety during night shifts
• Maintain clear, concise nursing notes and participate in interdisciplinary rounds to support resident-centered care
• Uphold infection control practices, safety standards, and clinical policies to maintain a safe care environment
  
  

Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (state regulations applicable)
• Ability to work night shifts (18:00–06:30) in a long-term care setting
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings is preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate with the health care team
• Must meet health and background requirements and complete required screenings per policy
