Responsibilities

• Prepare endoscopy rooms and ensure sterile setup for GI procedures, including ERCPs; maintain patient safety and sterile technique
• Operate and assist with endoscopy equipment (snares, gold probes, and related tools) during procedures; run equipment intra-procedurally as needed
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; assist with patient positioning and recovery
• Document procedures and patient data in EPIC within the past 2 years; ensure accurate and timely charting
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and anesthesia to maintain workflow; handle room turnover and adhere to the rotating schedule; participate in on-call coverage as required
  
  

Requirements

• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of in-unit experience
• Proficiency with endoscopy equipment, including snares and gold probes; able to operate equipment during procedures
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years
• Ability to work in the endoscopy suite across day shifts; 5x8 schedule with rotation of days/evenings; on-call required
• Reliable transportation; aware of travel considerations and weather-related requirements (no block schedules; winter driving precautions)
