Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with GI endoscopy procedures, including ERCP, ensuring sterile technique
• Monitor patient status during procedures and facilitate post-procedure recovery
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot endoscopy equipment; manage instrument handling and supplies
• Assist the gastroenterology team with tools, biopsies, specimen labeling, and documentation
• Maintain scope readiness, sterility, and proper cleaning/sterilization of equipment between cases
• Document procedure details and patient information according to department protocol
  
  

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• GI Lab experience strongly preferred; ERCP experience required
• Ability to work day shift and participate in on-call coverage
• Comfortable working in a hospital GI lab environment with acute procedures
• Onboarding documentation per program requirements (start date, RTO, birthdate, middle name, and SSN)
