Cardiovascular Technologist (OR CVOR Tech) – Hilo, HI. This travel - temporary assignment starts 07/27/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,936–$2,022. Shifts are rotating, generally 6:45 a.m. to 11:15 p.m., with about 40 hours scheduled per week and the possibility of 32 hours on holidays. The role supports an operative room program within a healthcare facility, with 1–2 outpatient GI lab rooms and a fast-paced, efficient OR environment.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in for a range of procedures independently, including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics Gynecology
• Assist with turnover cleaning and patient transport as needed to maintain OR readiness
• Maintain sterile technique and equipment readiness; support the surgical team throughout cases
• Collaborate with surgeons, circulating nurses, and anesthesia staff to optimize patient safety and efficiency
• Adapt to a high-volume, busy OR; participate in post-case cleanup and equipment turnover
• Orient on arrival and integrate with the department’s protocols and scheduling
  
  

Requirements

• Active Hawaii license by start of assignment; travelers not in Hawaii must apply upon acceptance
• Minimum 2 years of scrubbing experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to work rotating shifts (6:45 a.m. to 11:15 p.m.) and participate in 24/7 call coverage
• Willingness to transport patients and support turnover activities as needed
• Arrive the Thursday before the start date to complete required health screening
