The Opportunity
America’s PPO is currently seeking a Credentialing Data Specialist who would be responsible for gathering and validating healthcare practitioner credentialing information in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards for the providers contracted with America’s PPO. This position interacts with practitioners and facilities by email and phone to ensure timely receipt, processing of information and response to all credentialing-related inquiries.
What you'll do
- Process, submit, and track initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
- Enters and maintains provider information into the company’s credentialing database.
- Respond to status inquiries regarding providers’ network status.
- Provide subject matter expertise to all staff, as needed, regarding credentialing issues.
- Maintain database in support of credentialing functions.
- Assure accurate data collection and verification of information critical to the credentialing process.
- Identify discrepancies in information and conduct follow-ups.
- Complete all credentialing demographic updates or changes.
- Report on turnaround times for processing credentialing adds and edits.
- Prepares a variety of reports and templates using Word and Excel.
- Other tasks to support our Provider Network team.
Qualifications
What we expect from you
- High school diploma or equivalent; one (1) year credentialing or healthcare experience preferred.
- Data entry.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills with proficiency in multiple software applications including Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Detail oriented with ability to recognize vital information.
- Ability to consistently maintain quality and production standards.
- Ability to use good judgement in making decisions and oversee sensitive issues with diplomacy and tact.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $20.00-$25.00/hr*
