Daily Responsibilities For Registered Nurse - RN OR Circulator
- Our ASC (Ambulatory Surgery Center) is focused on minimally invasive spine surgery. Volume-wise we are doing 4-8 cases a day depending on case mix. It could be as many as 10 if they are less invasive like carpel tunnels.
- The Circulating RN will assist physicians during surgical procedures, in addition to supervising and directing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Performs thorough assessment of patient by taking temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient; documents nursing history, observes or records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies physician of patient’s condition and reaction to drugs, treatments and significant incidents
- Monday to Friday 6:30/6:45am-3:00/3:30pm
- Nursing degree from accredited school
- Active and clear Tennessee RN license
- CPR certification
- 1 years’ operating room circulating experience
