Daily Responsibilities For Radiology Technologist
- Perform high-quality radiographic imaging by properly positioning patients, applying knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and ensuring adherence to radiology safety standards.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain radiology equipment, performing routine testing and minor adjustments to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Monday to Friday hours are between 7 and 5:30 pm
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to sufficiently pinpoint area for radiography.
- Knowledge of radiology equipment and testing.
- Skills in properly positioning patients to provide quality imaging.
- Skills in training student technologists and co-workers in equipment operation and procedures.
- Completion of course in radiologic technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Current certification (ARRT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
