CT Technologist Position
Position Details- Specialty: CT Tech
- Requirement: No Dysrhythmia exam required
- Shift: 4-10s, 8:30a - 7p
- Weekend Rotation: Every 6th weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Yes
- Licenses/Certifications Required: BLS, State Radiology License, ARRT
In addition to CT, this technologist would need to perform basic x-ray exams too (including in-house patients). Under the direction and supervision of a radiologist/physician, performs all procedures within the CT section of the Department of Radiology. Also performs general radiographic examinations as required. Observes all radiation safety guidelines and performs any other duties which assist in the provision of quality patient care according to the mission and values of the health center.
Licensure/CertificationsRequired (must be non-expired/active)- ARRT(R) Registered
- Current BLS Certification
- Ohio Department of Health License for Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT(R)(CT) Registered
- ACLS preferred
- Previous experience preferred
- Required: 1 year of CT experience
- Preferred: 2 years of Radiology experience
- Broad range of technical skills
- Fairly detailed level of knowledge of a Radiology/CT modality
- Gathers, organizes, verifies, and analyzes data in the completion of multi-step procedures
- Produces final output within established standards
- Operates complicated equipment
