Job Description
Daily Responsibilities:
- Supports the physicians by providing clinical and administrative assistance
- Obtains and documents patient histories
- Triages and assesses client health concerns to determine appropriate response
- Assesses and reports vital signs and measurements; collects specimens
- Provides patient education
- Prepares examination rooms; sets up and maintains medical equipment and supplies
- Obtains authorization for prescriptions as required by insurance carriers
Qualifications
- Certified OR Registered Medical Assistant through ARMA, AMT OR AAMA
- 2 years of MA experience from primary care/internal medicine/ OR specialty practice!
- Must have venipuncture/phlebotomy/blood draw experience
- Must have MS Office/Outlook and EMR experience
