HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Certified Athletic Trainert to fill an opening in New Hyde Park, New York.
Daily Responsibilities for Certified Athletic Trainer
- Room patients and obtain focused musculoskeletal histories.
- Assist the physician with musculoskeletal examinations and clinical assessments.
- Assist with ultrasound-guided injections, procedures, and other in-office treatments.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, rehabilitation, home exercises, activity modification, and injury prevention.
- Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries, examination, rehabilitation, and therapeutic exercise.
- Strong patient communication and education skills.
- BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) required.

- Prior Sports Medicine or Orthopedic clinical experience.
- Epic EMR experience.
- Experience assisting with ultrasound-guided procedures and injections.
