FRONT DESK
Healthcare Partners Family Medicine, a busy medical practice in The Villages is looking for a Full-time Front desk with outstanding interpersonal skills, patience and professionalism when working with patients, doctors and staff.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as necessary
- Answer all incoming telephone calls promptly
- Retrieve phone messages and return messages
- Assist patients on their inquiries
- Create new patient packets and register patients into the system
- Enter patient data into the system including scanning of photo IDs and insurance cards
- Perform insurance verification
- Check-in patients
- Post charges and record no-shows
- Process payments which includes collection of copays and balances
- Maintain a clean patient lobby
Qualifications
- Strong Customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Prior experience on a medical field and EHR preferred, but not required
- Ability to maintain the highest level of customer service at all times
- Flexibility to adapt in a variety of situation
- Must have advanced attention to detail
- Able to work flexible schedule
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to multitask and have excellent organizational skills is essential
- Must have basic knowledge and experience with computers, printers and scanners
