Maintenance Mechanic

Pay: $25.00 per hour
Location: Cudahy, WI
Schedule: Full-time, 3rd Shift

What You’ll Do

• Start up and shut down plant machinery daily

• Perform maintenance and repairs on industrial textile equipment

• Troubleshoot electrical systems (including 3-phase 230V and equipment up to 400 kilowatts)

• Maintain and safely operate boilers and boiler room equipment

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs

• Diagnose issues, replace parts, and test equipment

• Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems

• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication as needed

• Program and troubleshoot PLCs

• Maintain facility systems and assist with general repairs

• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout

• Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and stocked

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or production environment

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, boilers, and high-voltage systems

• Ability to read electrical schematics

• Experience with welding and general facility maintenance

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record

• Self-starter with strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Team player with good communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 100 lbs and push/pull equipment up to 500 lbs

• Frequent standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching

• Work in varying conditions (heat, noise, humidity, dust)

• Ability to work around large industrial machinery safely

Additional Information

• Experience in a commercial laundry or production facility is a plus

• Occasional travel may be required for parts or service needs
