What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cart Makeup position at Healthcare Linen Services Group?
PURPOSE: To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.
JOB SUMMARY: Retrieves packing notes and fills each cart with appropriate linen. Receives products from the end of the production line(s) placing them in required carts. Moves completed carts to the scale area. Follows standard operating procedures. Inspects each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wears. Must meet quality and production standards.

- Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise
- Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cross-train in other positions per production needs
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day
- Sufficient manual dexterity to handle linen efficiently
- Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling
- Be able to push/pull clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels)
- Ability to work in high temperature environment
- Must be able to read and write English, and perform simple mathematics
