Linen Technician – St. Mary’s SSM Hospital

Location: Madison, WI
Shift: 4:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay: $17.00/hour

Why This Job Matters

Clean linen is an important part of patient care. Our Linen Technicians make sure nurses and hospital staff have the clean sheets, towels, gowns, and other linen they need to care for patients.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver and stock clean linen throughout the hospital
• Fill, build, and move linen carts
• Collect and move soiled linen
• Keep linen areas clean and organized
• Follow hospital and company safety rules
• Work well with your team and hospital staff
• Follow directions and help in other areas when needed
• Be on time and have good attendance

Physical Requirements

This is an active, physical job. You must be able to:

• Stand and walk for most of your shift
• Bend, twist, push, and pull throughout the day
• Push and pull wheeled linen carts weighing up to 800 lbs.
• Build and stock linen carts
• Perform simple math

What We’re Looking For

Someone dependable, hardworking, and ready to work. You must consistently report for the 4:30 AM start time and work well with others.

Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
