A leading healthcare system is seeking an experienced Executive Director of Revenue Cycle Management to oversee and optimize revenue cycle operations across multiple departments. This executive leader will partner closely with senior leadership to drive performance, enhance financial outcomes, and ensure operational excellence across the revenue cycle.
Must Have Qualifications (Applications without these will not be considered)
• 7 years of Revenue Cycle leadership in a large acute care hospital or health system
• Experience overseeing multiple revenue cycle departments
• Director-level or above leadership experience
• bachelor’s degree required
• Experience working in an EPIC environment required
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct multiple revenue cycle departments including strategy, operations, and performance management.
- Partner with executive leadership to drive financial, operational, compliance, and quality outcomes.
- Oversee revenue cycle performance, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow, efficiency, and patient experience.
- Establish strong operational infrastructure, policies, and procedures to support system-wide goals.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to revenue cycle leadership teams.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Health Information Systems, or related field required.
- 7 years of hospital-based revenue cycle leadership experience required.
- Experience in a large acute care hospital or health system REQUIRED (physician practice or billing company-only experience will not be considered).
- Strong knowledge of revenue cycle operations, compliance, and financial performance.
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance improvement, and execute strategic initiatives.
Compensation
Competitive executive compensation package in the low to mid $300Ks, plus bonus and relocation assistance.
Florida location offers no state income tax.
This is an on-site leadership role (no remote option available).
Only candidates with hospital-based Revenue Cycle leadership experience at a director level or above will be considered.
