Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and decision support initiatives for divisional leadership
- Serve as a key liaison between finance operations and senior leadership teams
- Manage the month-end close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, financial analysis, and ensuring reporting accuracy
- Develop monthly financial reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations
- Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
- Support the annual operating budget process and partner with department managers to review financial and operational performance
- Assist with strategic planning initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership, including the COO, CFO, DDA, and Senior Manager of Finance
- Present financial findings and recommendations in leadership meetings and cross-functional forums
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team development initiatives
- Drive collaboration across finance, operations, and business stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Background in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive finance, accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis experience within a healthcare system
- Healthcare industry experience is required
- Experience supporting month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
- Strong experience with Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Reports, and EPIC
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
