Position Summary
The Data Center Technician III serves as a senior technical contributor responsible for infrastructure related projects, application ownership, and cross functional coordination. This role combines technical expertise with project leadership and requires an individual who can take ownership of initiatives, communicate effectively across teams, and drive projects to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Project Ownership, Infrastructure Applications, and Technical Leadership
Tech III is where the role begins shifting from pure technical execution into ownership.
These individuals still understand the technical work performed by Tech I and Tech II, but their primary responsibility is leading projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and owning specific applications and systems.
They become the point person for assigned technologies and are expected to drive work forward.
Think of this role as the team's project leaders and technical coordinators.
Lead infrastructure related projects from planning through implementation
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned applications and systems
Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and operations teams
Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Develop and maintain documentation and operational procedures
Provide technical guidance to junior team members
Support server infrastructure and data center operations as needed
