Our healthcare client is looking for a Clinical Design Team Manager to run one of three clinical design teams, leading rounds with specialties to identify Epic configuration opportunities to support charge capture. This contract role is primarily remote, with potential for up 25% on-site travel to Washington, D.C.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a clinical design team of consultants and analysts through all implementation phases - design, build, testing, go-live, and post-go-live
- Facilitate specialty rounding sessions and cross-functional working sessions to identify Epic configuration opportunities
- Serve as primary point of contact for workstream delivery, senior stakeholder engagement, and issue escalation
- Manage team schedules, deliverable quality, and workload allocation across the engagement lifecycle
- Oversee charge capture workflow redesign, ensuring clinical and compliance requirements are met
- Monitor KPIs, track risks and issues, and report program status to senior leadership
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture
- 7 years of experience in healthcare IT, Epic implementation, or revenue cycle management — consulting background strongly preferred
- 2–5 years of direct Revenue Cycle Management experience including charge capture or clinical billing
- Demonstrated experience managing client-facing teams in complex, multi-workstream healthcare programs
- Strong executive presence; proven ability to engage with clinical, operational, and IS leadership
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and healthcare regulatory compliance
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Epic project management or module certification
- Experience leading specialty clinical teams (Radiology, Lab, OR, Urgent Care)
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
