Healthcare IT Leaders is seeking a Cerner Ambulatory Consultant with experience across ambulatory design, build, workflow development, client collaboration, and testing for a 12 month contracting opportunity with event based travel to New England.

Responsibilities
- The consultant will work closely with provider, nursing, front office, coding, lab, radiology, pharmacy, medication administration, ePrescribe, orders, and other ancillary workflows.
- Strong Oracle Health Cerner Ambulatory experience
- Prior Cerner build experience required
- Experience serving as the lead consultant on a full implementation from start to finish
- Advanced knowledge of ambulatory workflows across provider, nursing, front office, coder, ancillary, lab, radiology, medication administration, ePrescribe, and orders workflows
- Ability to lead client workgroups and provide implementation process leadership
- Experience educating clients on design recommendations, configuration tasks, and long term maintenance of ambulatory workflows and content
- Ability to consult with clinical, revenue, operational, and service line teams to identify benefit opportunities
- Experience consulting around ambulatory KPIs, including provider volumes, clinic cycle times, and throughput measurement
- Must be able to work on a W2 – We are not accepting any vendor submissions at this time
- Start date is ASAP
