You'll be expected to cross-train when needed, occasionally assist with responsibilities outside your normal scope of practice, and step in wherever you can to support the team. Responsibilities Include
- Obtaining patient histories and performing physical examinations
- Ordering and interpreting laboratory testing as appropriate
- Diagnosing illnesses and developing treatment plans
- Prescribing medications and treatments according to current standards of care
- Performing simple office procedures
- Maintaining accurate and timely medical records
- Following infection control and safety procedures, including proper handling of sharps and body fluids
- Delivering care that reflects current medical best practices while creating a positive, customer-friendly patient experience
