SHIFT: FRIDAY 7A-5P, SATURDAY 8A-5PM, SUNDAY 8A-12PM, MONDAY 7A-5P
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to join our team at a busy primary care and walk-in clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying insurances, scheduling appointments, answering phones and messages, providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate appointment schedules for patients, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
- Verifying medical insurances
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing information about services and assisting with appointment bookings.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize office systems, including EMR for scheduling and google drive
- Assist at the front desk as needed, greeting patients and addressing their needs promptly.
Skills
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Proficient in using google drive
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with patients and team members.
