Role: Advanced Sonographer responsible for operating ultrasound imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities: Proficiently operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, maintain imaging standards, serve as a lead and expert resource, and assist in training staff. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care. Recognize technical abnormalities and adjust protocols as needed. Manage daily operations, motivate team members, and uphold quality assurance standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a Sonography program with clinical hours, 2 years relevant experience, and appropriate licensure. Certified by ARDMS/ARRT/CCI with advanced registries or equivalent experience. BLS certification required. Skills include decision-making, conflict resolution, attention to detail, effective communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various movements.
