Responsibilities include: assessing patient conditions, monitoring cardiac telemetry, administering medications, documenting care, preparing patients for procedures, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, managing multiple patients, ensuring infection control, advocating for patients, and facilitating discharge planning.
Qualifications: at least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS.
Skills needed: critical thinking, effective communication, technical proficiency, physical ability to move equipment, and the capacity to work under pressure.
