- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician directives.
- Deliver direct therapy, collaborate with healthcare team members, and educate patients and families on treatment goals and techniques.
- Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes in compliance with policies.
- Participate in departmental initiatives, training, and program development to enhance services.
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Eligible for New York State licensure and registration.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility to obtain it.
- One to two years of hospital-based experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
